What are the things you as a driver, or anyone else might consider when driving, are you more scared of hitting someone head on or simply hitting animals even? well we try to find out what the biggest scare's and issue creating things might disturb you and cause an accident. read on for more...

With the governments 'Towards Zero' campaign in place there are some fairly obvious starters to point out. Mainly that crashes can be caused by anyone, inexperience and inattention can be a more likely cause, whilst things like no pullout/over lanes (creating restless drivers) and bad road conditions cause far less serious accidents. Not to say that this represents the overall outcome of any publication so to refer to any documents please go to the respective links on the Helpful GOVT links page.

Above information is part of the towards zero information, showing how we have leveled out at about 300 serious crashes per year, however with the population comparison showing that even with a much higher population there is no reason to have such a high minimum serious crash point as 300...

As you can see theres more chance the driver is either tired/ distracted or outright being a danger. These are the most common serious instances and are overall, YOUR choice on the road.We should all try to remember the implications of making bad calls, have an Endgame and STICK to it.

There are of course many ways to be involved in or cause an accident and some are simply that, Accidents. This in no way meant to read as a finger waving sour 'talkin' to!' instead more a reminder, we all participate in keeping our roads safe. Are you doing your bit?
